just wanna worn you guys.. this is an extremely long post!

BUT I’m so excited that I FINALLY remembered to take pics of what I ate so I can link up with Jennifer @ Peas and Crayons!

Breakfast:

3 Low-Fat Wildberry Muffins

Lunch:

2 white cheddar rice cakes

low-fat s’mores granola bar

mandarin oranges in water, not syrup (SOO GOOD!)

water w/ Crystal Light green tea + peach mango

( I promise I usually eat a more substantial meal, but I didn’t have time for lunch today!)

Dinner:

(Ru san’s)

Zucchini Tempura (so good!)

House Ginger Salad

I finally tried sushi (baked cali roll) .. the half you see is the half that didn’t get immediately spit out in my napkin! YUCK!

Samurai Sunset (plum wine, sprite, and grenadine.. YUM!)

1. We went to Ru San’s as a sort of early birthday for Tatum/fat tuesday celebration haha.. yeah I know.. Japanese on fat tuesday doesn’t quite make since! but..

I was loving my cheap meal! …7.95!

4. That my voice teacher asked me to baby-sit her to boys this weekend while they move into her new house.. I love kids! (and money ;)

5. that today we worked on “stormy weather” in jazz chorale.. LOVE IT! it made me want to go outside and sing in the rain! haha ;)

Artificial Sweetener.. too good to be true?

You guys.. I have a serious, serious addiction to sugar..

seriously.

its rough.. I LOVE sweets, but lately.. my thighs have been lovin them too!

So the other day at the grocery store, I decided to give Crystal Light a try, and to my surprise, it’d delicious! Its only 5 calories and O sugar (an excellent solution to my super sweet Kool-Aid)

but the problem is, I’ve heard artificial sweeteners are bad for you! is this stuff really bad for you? and too good to be true? I sure hope not! =)

What do you guys think about artificial sweeteners? Do you use them? and how often? and which ones?

Flowers and a new painting!

I’m REALLY excited!

The other day at Target I bought these mini flower pots and one had daisy seeds (you know how I love my daisies) and the other had zinnias.. and tonight when I was setting the table for dinner and….

me-“MOMA!!! COME HERE QUICK!!!!”

her- “what??? whats wrong?”

me- “MY. FLOWERS . ARE . BLOOMING!!!!!!”

her- “yes hunny.. that’s generally what they do! you scared the heck out of me!”

haha.. thanks for the support with all the excitement MOM! I know its hard to contain it but reallyy…..

anyway! here are the zinnias! they are sprouting up like weeds!!

and lastly, today Wes and I watched 127 hours.. it was pretty crazy! but good at the same time! has anyone seen it?

tomorrow Wes and I are goin to Athens to see the Adjustment Bureau and eat at Jason’s Deli! I’m so excited for Jason’s Deli.. and I may even stop by Tradder Joe’s and see if they have any kombucha… the amazing Jenn over at

oh, and if you havent’t heard.. Miley is hosting SNL tomorrow night.. I’m…. pretty stoked! it will be pretty interesting to see how “The Miley Cyrus Show” sketch goes!

My latest obsession

So ever since I went to sips and strokes, I’ve been wanting to paint something again! I’m definitely NOT a painter.. but it was so fun!

So I started looking around at the Tipsy Tavern and SipsnStrokes websites and I found some really cute pics! and I really didn’t want to wait until I had the time and money to go back!

…sooo I went to walmart and bought a 3 pack of small canvas for 3.97 and some .97 acrylic paint!

the first one… didn’t quite turn out lol its… pretty messy! but the last 2 are…decent. ha!

the big one of course, is the one from sipsnstrokes! and the “M” I also painted but..that’s not too hard!

Yesterday my sis and I took Jason and BrookeLynn to the park! I wanted to get tons of pics but J didn’t want to cooperate! I got a few cute ones though!

1. the new Adele cd! it is sooo amazing! I’ve been waiting for a new cd from her for 2 years now.. and it was well worth the wait!!

2. My new curling iron.. its helen of troy if anyone’s interested.. I got it at sally’s.. and it is the bomb! =) I’m having fun waving my hair like.. everyday! ;)

3.  There is a fro yo place like 10 minutes from my house now! FroYoLo! its delicious! Ash and I went and checked it out yesterday! =)

4. I applied for 4 jobs for the summer yesterday! Ippolito’s, Chili’s, Chico’s, and Pets Mart!

5. That I’m on spring break, and it actually feels like spring outside! I was bummed that I didn’t get to go to FL to see my grandpa this spring break, but this nice weather has cushioned the blow!

6. Sex and the City on E! I love this show! and I’m glad its conveniently on E! now! haha

 

sorry for my shorter list today! I hopefully I’ll have some good pics to show you guys tomorrow! my sister and I are gonna take Jason and BrookeLynn to the park today! =)
